Welcome to the Cornwall Branch of the Greyhound Trust.  Cornwall  is made up of a group of people dedicated to re-homing retired racing greyhounds.

Greyhounds are very adaptable and our re-homing policies are very flexible.  Even if you work, have children, cats or are unable to go for long walks, it is still worth contacting us.

The policy of the Trust is that our greyhounds are neutered,  vaccinated and wormed.  The Trust does ask for a donation towards the cost of this veterinary treatment.  New greyhounds are coming to us on a regular basis, so if there aren't any on the website which you feel are suitable,  please don't hesitate to get in touch with us via our Contact page.

All of our Cornwall Greyhound Trust dogs are boarded at Russet Greyhound Sanctuary, we always have new greyhounds arriving at the sanctuary so there should be a suitable greyhound for you.  Russet Sanctuary now have their own web site, please follow the link to see some of the greyhounds that are looking to be adopted into their "forever home".   Thank You.

Home Check

All new homes are subject to a "Home check".  Once completed and approved, we will endeavour to help you choose a greyhound that is best suited to you.   We are always looking for 'forever' homes.  If you feel you could offer a home for one of these retired racing greyhounds please phone or email us.

Regular events

Meet, Greet & Walk with the Greyhounds are held on the 3rd Sunday of each month (see the "Forthcoming Events" below).  These are held in different locations in Cornwall each month.
